Just a quick post about the subscription service. Not a whole pile to say really and all will be kicking off pretty soon. Hope everyone had a good Christmas/New Year and here’s to more winners!

I suppose it’s about time that I put up something about the subscription service – so here goes nothing! The first question that I’m sure many are asking is why am I doing this? The reason is quite simple really; I don’t have a job, and I need one!

By going it alone into the world of selecting horses for a fee is my best option and given how things have went over the past couple of years posting on this and various other sites, I feel the time is right to launch. If I haven’t proven my worth and ability to find the odd winner by now, I never will!

In that time, I’ve shown a profit which is approaching the 500 point mark, with a ROI/Yield of 25%. For example; if someone staked £20 per point at the advised prices (never having to have a bet of over £100), they’d be showing a profit of nearly £10,000, which ain’t too shabby!

In the recently gone by Flat season, I was +235.78pts to advised prices with a ROI/Yield of 33% – showing a profit in every month bar May.

As I’m still learning new things in the game (I like to think that I’m still progressive and open to improvement!), I really expect that I can surpass all of these tallies in the coming years and if that does indeed happen, anyone who’s backing them should make a very pretty amount of money if they’re disciplined in their betting – although it’ll be no fun when the bookies start limiting your accounts.

Now there’s one thing that I must get straight; there are and always will be losing runs, plenty of them and anyone who expects a constant flow of winners shouldn’t even consider signing up to this service. I can also guarantee absolutely nothing in terms of future results, which is just plain logic but not something adhered to by plenty of the bullshit artists out there.

I’m simply a value orientated punter and that’ll never, ever change. If the price isn’t too big for a certain horse, it won’t be selected; winning in the long term is all that matters to me, winning on any given day doesn’t. I get about 15% of my selections into the winners enclosure and at the odds I play, that won’t go up a whole lot I’d imagine – not that it matters anyway.

If you can hack it when there are losing runs, you’ll be rewarded in the long term – barring disaster, and it certainly won’t be for the lack of effort, as I spend about 8-12 hours per day going through the cards and watching videos of races in order to find worthwhile, value selections.

There will be days when I won’t have any selections on the site and on average, I bet on 4 days out of every week – which won’t change once all is up and running. Nothing will be changing actually, it’ll be the same ol’ routine and the selections, with plenty of reasoning as per usual, will be posted on site at about 4am.

When people sign up via Paypal, they’ll be taken to a page to create a new account and then will have access to a restricted area of the site where everything will be posted. After the day is over and the horses have run their races, the selections post will be moved over to the open area of the site and all will be there for everyone to see – nothing will be edited or changed. I’ll just be doing this to show how things are going along and won’t be hiding it from anyone.

With regard to pricing, it won’t be overly cheap. Numbers are going to be limited to a relatively small amount in order to ensure that the majority of members will get on at the best price possible and as a result, I have to price it in order to make it worthwhile for myself of course. At the moment, I’m looking to charge £50 for a single month, £130 for three months, £240 for six months and £450 for a year.

I’m sure that it’ll look like a fair amount on the face of it but it’s at the mid-point of what most services are charging and I make much more profit than the majority of those at the higher end of the scale. I’d be shocked and extremely disappointed in myself if members didn’t get a sizable return on their investment – assuming that the stakes they use is at least £10 per point. However, as I said, I can’t assure anyone of anything other than the fact that I’ll continue to try my absolute best in order to find winners at nice prices.

The service prices will be subject to change and will increase as the number of places available decrease. If you’re signed up earlier on a recurring payment scheme, the price won’t change for that calendar year – so it would be wise to get involved as soon as possible.

I don’t think there’s a whole lot more to add and as always, anyone can e-mail me with their questions and I’ll get back to them once I’m online. The new website is open for business and given the number of e-mails I’ve had, we will be closed for business within no time. The website is; JamesBoyleRacing.com. Feedback on the site is also more than appreciated! I’ve plenty more work to do with it but that’ll all be done once I’ve got the cash to make improvements.

I still have to write up all of the T&C’s but there’s not very much to that and the only thing that I want to say is that there’ll be a strict “no abuse” policy (which will result in the instant closure of accounts with no refunds given), as I can’t be bothered dealing with any of that childish nonsense (you’d be surprised by some of the messages I’ve received over the years!).

Gambling involves plenty of risk and the way I play the game means that we will all have to put up with losing runs, but should make more than enough money from the winning runs in order to make a sizable profit year after year – as people should know by now from having followed the site.

Also; anyone found to be sharing information, or their account details, will be thrown off the site for good – we’ll be having none of that please!

Selections will start being posted again, on the new site, within the next few days and to all who have looked at my selections, supported and encouraged me over the last couple of years, I want to say thanks a million. It has been a very enjoyable time in which I hope everyone made a nice few quid but all good things come to an end (by that I mean having to pay now!) and I have to start making a living.

I certainly could do that if I had the money to punt professionally but unfortunately I don’t and as a result, I can’t. Still, I’m more than confident in my ability to make other people a lot of money in the long run via selecting horses to back and hopefully all will go well over the coming years.

Thank you all and the last post by me on this site will be up in the coming days, which will be an update of the December statistics. In that time, I was +40pts – which is just shy of a years subscription to the new site if you’re playing £10 a point!
